Quick Cook Organic Grains & Pulses Burgers

These vegan burgers are delicious, quick to make and perfect for lunch.

Makes 6 burgers

Cooking time - 20 mins, Total preparation time - 30 mins

Ingredients

Method

  1. Cook the Clearspring Quick Cook Organic Grains and Pulses as per the packet instructions, and allow to drain.
  2. Remove one third of the cooked grain mix and blitz in a food processor, along with the clove of garlic, until you have a smooth paste.
  3. Add back to the rest of the grains and add the other ingredients. The mixture should come together. Add a little more flour if needed and season to taste. 
  4. Mix well, and divide into six equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball, and gently flatten into a patty and dust with flour.
  5. Fry in a little oil until golden, turning once. 
  6. Serve in a burger bun with salad & relish.

Variation: Add your choice of herbs and flavourings to the burger mix.
