These vegan burgers are delicious, quick to make and perfect for lunch.
Makes 6 burgers
Cooking time - 20 mins, Total preparation time - 30 mins
- Cook the Clearspring Quick Cook Organic Grains and Pulses as per the packet instructions, and allow to drain.
- Remove one third of the cooked grain mix and blitz in a food processor, along with the clove of garlic, until you have a smooth paste.
- Add back to the rest of the grains and add the other ingredients. The mixture should come together. Add a little more flour if needed and season to taste.
- Mix well, and divide into six equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball, and gently flatten into a patty and dust with flour.
- Fry in a little oil until golden, turning once.
- Serve in a burger bun with salad & relish.
Variation: Add your choice of herbs and flavourings to the burger mix.
