Walnut oil

Sadly v disappointing as I couldn’t taste the walnuts at all. Hopefully it was just this batch!

This oil was a revelation. Bought it on a whim. It seemed expensive but I fought past that and got it anyway. Very glad that I did. It is awesome. Made a salad dressing with this oil, some lemon juice, a splash of mirin and a tiny drop of tamari. The walnut flavour was the star of the show and made my simple salad into a dish to relish. I will always want to have this in my kitchen now.

Best salad dressing ingredient

Toasted walnut oil, balsamic vinegar, crushed garlic, grainy mustard, ground black pepper and sea salt - the most delicious salad dressing. Must be TOASTED walnut oil.

Personally found this Walnut oil disappointing
Had to toast some walnuts for the salad I was making to get the distinctive taste/ tang
May have been just this batch
Good viscosity but no tang
Sorry to say as most of your products are outstanding
I think my previous review has not arrived so apologies if this is a variant version
I was puzzled by the absence of a goldentinge to the color
