Love this! I’ve been using this for the last 2 years. Very nice touch for seafood, veggies and chicken.
I like the fact that they put minimal salt and sugar into this sauce.
Lovely coconut milk, organic, tasty, exactly as wished for.
A regular order for us and always makes for a great meal — slowly cooking whole carrots in coconut milk with lime and coriander leaf until it’s reduced to thick cream is a favourite.
and very helpful when cutting back on meat — a little bacon or chorizo or anchovy go much further with the jackfruit, so it’s possible to use an ounce or so of meat as a flavouring rather than meat as the bulk of the meal and still feel it’s something luxurious and satisfying. The Clearspring jackfruit has a chunky, firm texture and pleasant, mild, slightly sharp, lightly briny taste. It absorbs flavours pretty well if marinaded or fried with them ahead of main cooking. We usually make it into a stew.
we open a pack of the Clearspring rice crackers, I say again ‘we must learn how to make these’ but every time we just end up buying more packs because they are really really good and we haven’t a chance.
That’s all really. They are incredibly clean in terms of ingredients and they are very very delicious. And exactly delicately crunchy enough.
