Whilst most mirin nowadays contains sugar and preservatives, our rice is naturally fermented with koji from just rice with some salt being added at the end of the process. Mirin is used to sweeten and add depth of flavour.

Mikawa/Rice Mirin

An effort to make our meals more enjoyable and interesting, I have ordered a few Japanese sauces and condiments, and the two types of mirin were a part of my purchase.
I really enjoy using the mirin to make fresh cucumber salad, simple salad dressings, and it gets added into just about any type of sauces I make, not just exclusive to Asian foods, but also western foods too. Needless to say, I'm happy that I had explored and found the mirin.

Love the glass bottles, and the genuine sweet and boozy taste of mirin. Wish the bottles are larger

Love that this product is organic! No unnatural baddies, additive or preservatives. it has a great flavour! I use this to make my own sushi rice seasoning. I would recommend, this product.
I just wish it came in a larger bottle size.
