Miso will naturally darken with time; this will not affect quality. Miso is a live product and ongoing fermentation may cause the lid to bulge. It will still be safe to consume. Harmless white yeasts may develop from exposure to air. Simply skim off.

I eat a teaspoon of white or brown miso a day, as a probiotic. Tastes great and I feel great 😊
Good, but I prefer the Clearspring sweet white miso. Even better if Clearspring did away with the plastic pouch.
Absolutely delicious ina soup, but have been experimenting using it as a sauce in vegetarian dishe. When used with Clearspring’s Creamed Coconut, makes an amazing sauce. Highly recommend both products.
This white miso is wonderful , I much prefer it to veg. cubes . I use it for making soups and a quick “ pick me up “ highly recommend it and not too salty . perfect !
