Gluten Free Brown Rice Pasta with Creamy Tofu Sauce

May 03, 2016

Gluten Free Brown Rice Pasta with Creamy Tofu Sauce

This multi purpose tofu sauce is excellent with crudites, thinned as a salad dressing or as a pasta sauce. Most people would not realise that it was dairy free unless told. It is simply delicious!

Serves 3

Ingredients

For creamy sauce

For pasta dish

Method

  1. Whizz all the ingredients throughly, either in the food processor or with a stick blender, to make a creamy sauce.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Sprinkle with chilli or nori flakes to taste.

If using as a pasta sauce, cook pasta (with the broccoli florets for the last 2 mins of cooking time) - add a handful of garden peas or sweetcorn at the very end. To save on washing up cook the vegetables in the same pan as the pastas.
