It is a good source of vitamin E and rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids which, as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle, can help keep your heart healthy. Ideal for using in salads and dressings.

    The sunflower with its characteristic large turning flower head is a native American food plant that is also grown extensively as an oil and seed crop in Russia and Eastern Europe.

Not good as it use to be

This oils when it just comes to the market had a beautiful aroma as it should be . Now it’s total rubbish , you can feel that taste is no longer the same . 100% oil is deluted.
Very disappointed with the quality. Likely found a small business , who produce a pure sunflower oil as it should be .

I used to buy this product at Waitrose, but it is no longer available there and I am thankful to buy it on line direct from Clearspring.
I try as far as possible to support the shops in my locality, but the only organic sunflower oil I can find ithere is in plastic bottles with very short necks which always drip down the outside causing messy handling and oil on the shelf where it stands.
I am thankful for the quality of the oil, the bottle and also the way it is packaged and speedily sent to me.

I bought it because it tastes genuine, in fact it reminds me of the sunflower oil taste I remember being able to buy as "ordinary" oil 60 years ago, which i liked very much then.
