Cold-pressed from the creamy flesh of Chilean avocados, Clearspring Organic Avocado Oil has a delicious, nutty flavour which is perfect for a large range of dishes. It can be use for dipping with bread, adding colour, smoothness and flavour to dressings, stir-frying and even deep-frying as it has a very high smoke point. It is also cholesterol free, rich in vitamin E, omega 3 and 6 and it’s high in monounsaturated fat. In many countries is it is a recommended ingredient as part of a healthy heart diet.
Try drizzling a little Clearspring Organic Avocado Oil mixed with Clearspring Organic Tamari and Clearspring Organic Balsamic Vinegar over a salad of tofu, wakame and tomato for a rich finish, or add Avocado Oil to grated beetroot, carrot and cabbage along with a little Clearspring Organic Rice Vinegar, Clearspring Traditional Sea Salt and Clearspring Organic Roasted Seeds and Soya. Alternatively, use it as a substitute for butter in cakes, muffins and pastry or drizzled over warm vegetables or pasta. When you cook with avocado oil, the distinctive colour becomes clear, so your dishes won’t all turn out green.

I love Avocados, but was buying them every week and It was becoming far too expensive! So, I researched several companies selling avocado oil and liked what I read about Clearspring. I am on my first bottle and love it! It has a lovely flavour and is gorgeous as a salad dressing. I'm looking forward to experimenting with it!
I recently discovered Clearspring when I started Googling for organic avocado oil after reading a book on brain health. What I didn't expect was to find a really lovely online ordering experience and quality products. This is my very first experience with avocado oil, so I have no other brands to compare it to, but what I will say is that the smell and taste of this oil is so good. This is now becoming a great alternative to using Extra Virgin Olive Oil on/in things. Some people find Extra Virgin Olive Oil quite bitter and strange, and it can often change the flavour of soups if you are not careful. But what I have found with this avocado oil is that it not only provides similar health benefits to EVOO, but it can also make any overpowering flavours in soups more subtle. Therefore, I have found that it acts as an excellent addition to any soup that needs toning down a little. It is great drizzled over salads, meats, fish, sweet potato wedges... I'm still experimenting. :)
