Our sunflower frying oil is cold pressed from organic high oleic sunflower seeds, which are rich in monosaturated fats. These fats give the oils a high smoke point, making it perfect for high-temperature cooking. Rich in vitamin E and neutral in flavour, this oil is perfect for deep-frying tempura, stir-frying noodles and oven-roasting vegetables.

How is it made?

Our Sunflower Frying Oil is cold-pressed. Cold pressing is when the raw ingredient is simply pressed without external sources of heat or chemicals applied to the pressing process. This allows the oil to retain more of its flavour and nutritional value creating a higher quality product.

Uniquely in Clearspring’s range of otherwise unrefined oils, it is partly deodorised and processed using harmless steam to increase its smoke point essential for use when frying.
