This combination of organic grains and pulses is colourful, versatile and wholesome. Emmer wheat or Farro is an ancient form of modern wheat and is a type of spelt. With its sweet nutty chewiness the grains remain slightly al dente when cooked. Gourmets applaud Farro for its nutritional characteristics; they adore the hearty, flavourful taste. KAMUT® khorasan wheat complements its flavour, barley provides texture while peas and lentils add protein and iron to the mix.

Bring a large pan of water to the boil with a pinch of salt if required. Add the grains (80g per serving) and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain and season to taste.
Bring water or stock (400ml per serving) to the boil with a pinch of salt if required. Add the grains (80g per serving) along with fresh vegetables if desired. Simmer for 10 minutes or until all the ingredients are cooked. Season to taste.
