I have cooked this in a Thai style curry and it was good.
An excellent product and myself and my family really love it. Its amazing how may things you can do with it from delicious "burgers" to pasta, salads etc... Highly recommend it.
Always use instead of meat, a good substitute
and very helpful when cutting back on meat — a little bacon or chorizo or anchovy go much further with the jackfruit, so it’s possible to use an ounce or so of meat as a flavouring rather than meat as the bulk of the meal and still feel it’s something luxurious and satisfying. The Clearspring jackfruit has a chunky, firm texture and pleasant, mild, slightly sharp, lightly briny taste. It absorbs flavours pretty well if marinaded or fried with them ahead of main cooking. We usually make it into a stew.
