Strawberry Amazake Dessert

This delightfully sweet and dairy-free delight will appeal to all.

Serves 5-6

Ingredients

For garnish

  • 100g washed strawberries

Method

  1. In a saucepan, bring the amazake, water, salt and ground almonds to the boil whilst stirring.
  2. Cut the strawberries into small pieces and add to the mix and then blend.
  3. Dissolve the kuzu in a little cold water and add to the hot mix. Make kuzu dissolve well over low heat for 1 minute.
  4. Serve chilled in individual glass dishes with strawberries on the top.
