not happy

this must be fake oil as it doesnt solidify when put in the fridge. this is the only way to test if oil is real or undiluted

It’s true that generally triglycerides in EV olive oils tend to solidify at low temperatures (<4°C).

This can happen more quickly or less depending on the quantity of triglycerides, the quantity of oil and the temperature.

The domestic refrigerator temperature is usually too high (>4°C) to see this phenomenon in a short time, it will need several days, maybe more than 1 week.

We never do this test since it’s not reliable, we do professional accredited laboratory tests to verify the quality and authenticity of the olive oil.

Many websites use this test as click-bait with titles such as “Do this test etc. etc.”

This is my everyday oil, it is the one of preference. It can be used for frying, including stirfry up to a high temperature.(I use Clearspring as an excellent oil. I use their avocado for salads and delicate taste
