Company
Clearspring is a privately owned UK company established in the 1980s to distribute great tasting traditional foods that support good health, promote sustainable agriculture, and provide economic stability for producer communities.
The company is based at offices in West London with a packing and distribution facility operated by a privately owned partner company, Machandel [5] [6], in the Netherlands.
People
Clearspring's team is based in our West London offices (click to download map [6] [7]).
Christopher Dawson [7] [8], founder, majority shareholder and chief executive, lived in Japan in the 1980s developing the Clearspring range of traditional Japanese foods, adding a select range of organic European foods during the 1990s.
Bob Harrop [8] [9] is the Financial Director. He has been working for Clearspring since 2002 and is a long time friend of Christopher.
Robin Barlow heads the UK sales team and Lucio de Berti International sales.
Food and Environmental Standards
All Clearspring foods meet vegan standards, organic foods are certified to EU standards, and selected foods are kosher certified. Learn more [9] [10].

Warehousing and Distribution
Clearspring's packing and distribution facility operated by its partner, Machandel [5] [12], is powered by electricity generated entirely from solar, wind or tidal sources. One third of its roof area is covered by solar panels and a sophisticated heat exchange system minimises energy consumption.
