The mellow, malty sweetness and distinct flavour of Clearspring candies comes from just two ingredients, Japanese brown rice malt and natural flavourings.

No other sweeteners or ingredients are used, just the skill of the Yamashita family in following a traditional Japanese recipe. The malt syrup used comes from the Uchida family and is the same as sold in jars of Clearspring's Japanese Brown Rice Malt Syrup.
