The way we eat, and the way we grow what we eat, are both prominent topics in our newsletters. These are necessary wake-up calls for humanity. At last people are realising that we need to change our approach to food if we are to continue to feed our families well. The last thing we want is to have to wake up to a breakfast of cloned animal foods or genetically modified cereals. Recently, I’ve been asked to do a few interviews, such as this one with the Soil Association. As a pioneer in the marketplace, I am pleased to share my thoughts, words and deeds. It’s even more exciting when I see Clearspring brand good food on dining tables worldwide. Our ongoing commitment is to quality organic ingredients produced by sustainable methods. Good taste counts as well. We are pleased to announce that the Guild of Fine Foods has awarded one of our newest products, Organic Oatcakes, a Gold Star for the Sun-Dried Tomato and Herb flavour in its Great Taste 2010 awards.
Best wishes,
Christopher Dawson

At Clearspring we greatly believe in the power of what you eat, and so does food coach, chef and Clearspring fan Gabriel Evans. In his new book Foodintuition he offers practical tips for a healthy lifestyle and explores lost culinary traditions in search of common sense solutions.
Finding vegetarian food when you are abroad isn’t always that easy. Some cuisines are meatier than others and there are often hidden ingredients to be aware of too. We’ve put together some top holiday tips to help you make the most of your break.
To celebrate all things summer, we’d like to know your favourite holiday dish. Simply send us an email entitled ‘snack competition’ and tell us your top veggie or vegan holiday foods for your chance to win a snack pack containing Tamari Pumpkin Seeds, Tamari Almonds, Fruit Purée and our brand new Organic Corn Cakes. Competition ends 29th August 2010.
