Clearspring's packing and distribution facility is operated by its partner, Machandel, located in the Netherlands.

Machandel is a family business, established in 1978, and owned and managed by Piet and Bonnie Glasbeek with their sons Eliza and Jasja.

At their facility at Haulerwijk in Friesland, they produce, pack and distribute the highest quality organic foods. Twenty people are directly employed and handicapped people at a local organisation carry out selected packing work.

The premises use electricity generated entirely from solar, wind and tidal sources. One third of the roof area is covered by solar panels and a sophisticated heat exchange system minimises energy consumption.

Machandel meets the highest quality organic and food safety standards and is Kosher certified.
